I’m Jessica Koiner, founder of The Milk Box Lactation, serving families across DFW through every age and stage of lactation. As a fellow mom and nutrition graduate, I’m passionate about helping families feel supported, equipped, and confident in their feeding journey.

My approach goes beyond latch and supply—I care deeply about the connection between lactation, bodywork, airway development, and long-term wellness. I believe families thrive when they have a strong village, and I’m honored to be part of that support system.

My passion for this work began with my own story. My first child and I struggled significantly with breastfeeding during his early months, one of the hardest seasons our family has faced. That experience ignited a calling to walk alongside other families with hope and encouragement.

After years pursuing Nutrition and Dietetics, I discovered lactation support was where I was meant to be. Today, it’s not just my profession—it’s one of my greatest joys.

Dr. Erin O
Founder - Flower of Life Chiropractic
'
Daniel
I’m Dr. Erin O’Daniel, DC, CACCP, founder of Flower of Life Chiropractic, where we provide nervous system–based prenatal and pediatric care for infants, children, and families. Our approach combines gentle hands-on adjustments, education, and a focus on the body’s innate ability to heal — helping families restore balance, optimize function, and thrive.

My journey began as a competitive gymnast facing repeated injuries. A chiropractor not only relieved my pain but showed me that the body can grow and adapt when interference is removed. That experience inspired me to dedicate my life to working with children and families, teaching them to understand and trust their bodies.

I see my role as both doctor and teacher, guiding families to integrate mind, body, and spirit. Flower of Life Chiropractic was founded on the belief that health is interconnected — when one family member thrives, the ripple effect touches the whole family. It’s a privilege to walk alongside families as they grow, heal, and flourish.

Kate Okaro Alison Standish
Founders - Cowtown Pediatric Concierge
&
Cowtown Pediatric Concierge is an integrative pediatric primary care practice founded by pediatric nurse practitioner Kate Okaro and registered nurse Alison Standish. College roommates turned co-founders, they created this practice from a shared belief that families deserve thoughtful, relationship-centered care.

With over 25 years of combined pediatric experience — spanning urgent care, primary care, postpartum, and hospital settings — they bring both professional expertise and real-life perspective as mothers. Their approach blends evidence-based medicine with a root-cause, whole-child philosophy, addressing nutrition, gut health, development, sleep, and environment alongside traditional care.

Through a concierge model, they offer extended visits, direct access, primary and sick care, plus newborn education and childhood classes — creating space for deeper conversations and proactive support.

Their mission is simple: to provide intentional, integrative pediatric care so families feel informed, confident, and truly known.

Rachel Terrell
Founder - Rooted & Rising Therapies
I’m Rachel Terrell, founder of Rooted & Rising Therapies, a pediatric speech, occupational, and feeding therapy clinic in Lewisville, TX serving families across DFW. We support autistic and neurodivergent children and teens through neurodiversity-affirming, child-led, play-based therapy grounded in sensory regulation — because regulation is the foundation for growth.

I’m proudly autistic and ADHD, diagnosed in my late 20s. That discovery reshaped both my personal story and my clinical approach. I understand my clients not only as a clinician, but through lived experience — including the challenges and the incredible strengths of a neurodivergent brain.

At Rooted, we don’t fix or mask children. We honor how they’re wired. With expertise in GLP, AAC, sensory integration, and responsive feeding, we align therapy with natural development so meaningful progress can happen.
Rooted is a place where kids feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow confidently into who they are.

Katie Shelffo
Founder - Bright Beginnings Occupational Therapy and Wellness
I’m Katie Shelffo, OTR/L, MOT, a holistic pediatric occupational therapist and the founder of Bright Beginnings Occupational Therapy & Wellness in the DFW area.
I specialize in neuroadaptive and sensory-based therapy, including NeuroAdaptive Therapy, the Safe and Sound Protocol, and parent coaching calls. My goal is to address the root causes of challenges and support lasting growth—helping children thrive from the inside out.

I became an occupational therapist because I’m passionate about empowering children and families to live full, joyful lives. As a mom of two girls and a wife to my husband Jeff, I know the realities families face and love walking alongside them with compassion, guidance, and practical tools that support the whole child—body, mind, and spirit.

Estefania Vargas
Founder - The Green in You
I’m Estefanía, founder of The Green in You, a Texas-based functional nutrition practice dedicated to uncovering and addressing the root causes of chronic health concerns. Through personalized nutrition plans, comprehensive functional lab testing, and targeted supplementation, I support gut, hormone, metabolic, autoimmune, and postpartum health — helping clients restore balance and feel their best from the inside out.

Originally from Panama, I’ve always been fascinated by how the body works and how nutrition influences physical, mental, and emotional well-being. My own health journey led me to functional medicine and inspired me to pursue advanced education in Human Nutrition so I could offer evidence-based, individualized care rooted in science and curiosity.

I believe symptoms are signals, not random events, and that “normal” labs don’t always mean optimal health. As a new mom, I value practical and realistic approaches to wellness. My mission is to help clients feel heard, empowered, and confident in taking ownership of their health.

Kaitlyn Schaefer
Founder - Mothering With Grace
I’m Kaitlyn Grace Schaefer, founder of Mothering With Grace, serving families in Frisco, DFW, and online worldwide. I offer prenatal and postnatal yoga, birth preparation, holistic postpartum education, and postpartum doula care — supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and beyond with intention and grace.

I’m a Certified Yoga Teacher, Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher, Certified Doula, and hold a Master’s degree in Physical Activity and Health from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. Born in Canada, raised in Germany, and now raising my own family in Texas, I bring a global perspective to motherhood and maternal care.

My calling was shaped by experiencing postpartum in two very different systems — one deeply supportive, the other strikingly isolating. That contrast opened my eyes to how essential true postpartum care is.

Mothering With Grace isn’t just about yoga classes or courses. It’s about nurturing mothers as intentionally as we nurture babies — because when mothers feel supported, informed, and empowered, families truly thrive.

Yoga supported me through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, injury, diastasis, and pelvic pain. The resilience and healing I experienced inspired me to help others build practices that truly meet their needs.

Connecting Yoga began with in-home sessions for busy families and mothers navigating full schedules. Today, my work continues to focus on personalized, supportive care — meeting you exactly where you are.

I specialize in comprehensive psychological evaluations and attachment intensives, helping families gain clarity and confidence in understanding themselves and their children.

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology and completed advanced training in assessment during my post-doctoral fellowship in private practice. Parent-child relationships have always been a central passion of mine and were the focus of my dissertation research.

I believe evaluations should bring clarity, not confusion. My approach is thorough, supportive, and grounded — guiding families through the process with care and intention.
Outside of work, I’m a slightly crunchy mom who values balance, authenticity, and time outdoors. Those same values shape how I show up professionally: present, thoughtful, and committed to helping families move forward with insight and confidence.

Krisha Crosley
Founder - Serenity Life Doula LLC
I’m Krisha Crosley, founder of Serenity Life Doula LLC and a Natural Birth Coach passionate about helping women train for birth — physically and mentally. I’m a competitive athlete, a wife to the love of my life for over 30 years, a mom to one son and one daughter, and a proud Vida to one.

My journey into birth work began after I had my own babies. Friends started asking me to support them in labor because, as they would say, “there’s just something about you.” One dad told me, “You need to be a doula.” I had no idea what that was — until I looked it up, read a book, got trained, and realized I had already been doing the work from the heart.

For over a decade, I’ve helped expecting moms move past fear and step into their power of choice. Through my Train for Birth® method, I teach that you don’t just prepare for birth — you train for it. My mission is to equip families with the physical tools, mindset, and confidence to achieve their birthing goals.

Megan Hamilton
Founder - InBody Mama
I’m Megan Hamilton, founder of InBody Mama, offering perinatal yoga and fitness, somatic birth preparation, and birth processing. For over 20 years, I’ve supported families as a doula, birth educator, and yoga instructor. My work focuses on embodied birth preparation through movement, breath, and deep self-connection so women feel strong, grounded, and confident.

After eight years in the corporate world, I was unexpectedly laid off — and two weeks later, I was in Mexico completing my yoga teacher training. It became the perfect blend of my birth work background and my passion for movement.

I hold certifications including E-RYT 200, RPYT, YCEP, and EYLC, and trained as a birth and postpartum doula through Seattle Midwifery School/Bastyr University.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I’m a wife, mom of four adult children, grandma to one, and happiest when painting, knitting, practicing yoga, or riding on the back of our Harley.

Founder - Olivia Wedel Counseling & Consulting, PLLC
Dr. Olivia Wedel
I’m Dr. Olivia Wedel, a licensed professional counselor and the founder of Olivia Wedel Counseling & Consulting, PLLC. Out of all the letters beside my name, Mama is my favorite, and my son is my greatest joy. I help moms rediscover hope, purpose, and joy during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, and I train providers in maternal mental health through a postpartum-informed lens.

My work includes counseling for prenatal and perinatal mental health, non-clinical postpartum planning, community education, and provider trainings. My approach is shaped by both clinical experience and lived understanding—after experiencing postpartum depression myself, I know firsthand that healing isn’t linear and requires holistic, layered support.

Since opening my practice in 2019, I’ve been serving women across Texas through telehealth and outdoor walk-and-talk sessions in Wise County. I do this work so no mother has to suffer in silence—healing is possible, and you don’t have to walk this journey alone.

Dr. Amie Dougherty
Founder - Milestones At Play Physical Therapy & Wellness
I’m Dr. Amie Dougherty, a pediatric physical therapist, wife, and mom to a spunky 7-year-old boy. I’m the founder of Milestones At Play Physical Therapy & Wellness, a Dallas-based practice that bridges the gap between medical and early childhood intervention models. We provide play-based, family-centered pediatric physical therapy that supports age-appropriate gross motor development while giving parents practical tools to continue progress at home.

I started this practice to be a true resource for families. As a mom, I understand how stressful it can be when you have questions about your child’s development and don’t know where to turn. I love equipping parents with strategies that help their little ones gain confidence, strength, and independence.

After more than a decade in the medical and insurance model, I founded Milestones At Play—originally my husband’s idea—and it has been the most rewarding adventure. Today, I’m grateful to help children thrive while being fully present for my own family.

Bete Fabyan
Bete Fabyan - Bready by Bete: Organic Sourdough
Hi! I’m Bete (pronounced “Betty”), the baker behind Bready by Bete. I’m a wife and mom of two boys in Justin, TX, and what started as a love for simple, nourishing bread has grown into a small-batch micro-bakery rooted in care and quality.

Each loaf is naturally leavened through slow fermentation using organic ingredients whenever possible — no commercial yeast, preservatives, or seed oils. Just real bread made the old-fashioned way.

Originally from Ethiopia and raised in Plano, I’m a graduate of the University of North Texas. In 2025, after losing my remote job, I felt God leading me to turn my sourdough hobby into a business.

Today, I bake to bring traditionally fermented, wholesome bread back to the table — supporting gut health and building community along the way.

Claire Decker
Co-founder - Native Beef and Native
Point Wellness Ranch
I’m Claire, co-founder of Native Beef and Native Point Wellness Ranch. What began in 2020 as my husband’s dream of ranching became a deeper calling rooted in healing, nourishment, and faith.

After facing serious health challenges that Western medicine couldn’t resolve, I discovered the power of regenerative, nutrient-dense food. Grassfed beef and organ meats became foundational to my healing, and tallow transformed my sensitive skin. What started as personal restoration naturally grew into a wellness line of tallow-based skincare and beef organ supplements designed to support whole-body health.

With a background in yoga and a passion for holistic living, I believe true healing reaches beyond the physical. Today, while raising our four children, I manage daily operations and help grow a vision centered on regenerative food, clean wellness products, and a ranch space where nourishment and community come together.

Abigail Austin
Founder - Wholesome Diaper Co.
I’m Abigail, a mom of three and the owner of Wholesome Diaper Co., a cloth diaper service designed to make eco-friendly diapering easy. Each week, we deliver clean cloth diapers to your door and pick up the dirty ones for professional laundering — no soaking or spraying required.

I started this business after having twins and realizing how overwhelming cloth diapering can feel, especially with the added laundry. When I saw there wasn’t a diaper service in my area, I created one so parents could choose a healthier, more sustainable option without the extra work.

I believe babies deserve natural fibers against their skin instead of plastic and harsh chemicals. When I switched to cloth with my twins, my son’s eczema cleared — and I was sold.

My mission is simple: to help families reduce waste and confidently choose a better option for their babies and the planet.
