Katie Shelffo
Founder - Bright Beginnings Occupational Therapy and Wellness
I’m Katie Shelffo, OTR/L, MOT, a holistic pediatric occupational therapist and the founder of Bright Beginnings Occupational Therapy & Wellness in the DFW area. I provide mobile therapy in children’s natural environments—homes, schools, and preschools—as well as in our Richardson clinic, using brain-based, play-driven approaches to help children build regulation, coordination, and developmental skills.

I specialize in neuroadaptive and sensory-based therapy, including NeuroAdaptive Therapy, the Safe and Sound Protocol, and parent coaching calls. My goal is to address the root causes of challenges and support lasting growth—helping children thrive from the inside out.

I became an occupational therapist because I’m passionate about empowering children and families to live full, joyful lives. As a mom of two girls and a wife to my husband Jeff, I know the realities families face and love walking alongside them with compassion, guidance, and practical tools that support the whole child—body, mind, and spirit.

Founder - Olivia Wedel Counseling & Consulting, PLLC
Dr. Olivia Wedel
I’m Dr. Olivia Wedel, a licensed professional counselor and the founder of Olivia Wedel Counseling & Consulting, PLLC. Out of all the letters beside my name, Mama is my favorite, and my son is my greatest joy. I help moms rediscover hope, purpose, and joy during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, and I train providers in maternal mental health through a postpartum-informed lens.

My work includes counseling for prenatal and perinatal mental health, non-clinical postpartum planning, community education, and provider trainings. My approach is shaped by both clinical experience and lived understanding—after experiencing postpartum depression myself, I know firsthand that healing isn’t linear and requires holistic, layered support.

Since opening my practice in 2019, I’ve been serving women across Texas through telehealth and outdoor walk-and-talk sessions in Wise County. I do this work so no mother has to suffer in silence—healing is possible, and you don’t have to walk this journey alone.

Dr. Amie Dougherty
Founder - Milestones At Play Physical Therapy & Wellness
I’m Dr. Amie Dougherty, a pediatric physical therapist, wife, and mom to a spunky 7-year-old boy. I’m the founder of Milestones At Play Physical Therapy & Wellness, a Dallas-based practice that bridges the gap between medical and early childhood intervention models. We provide play-based, family-centered pediatric physical therapy that supports age-appropriate gross motor development while giving parents practical tools to continue progress at home.

I started this practice to be a true resource for families. As a mom, I understand how stressful it can be when you have questions about your child’s development and don’t know where to turn. I love equipping parents with strategies that help their little ones gain confidence, strength, and independence.

After more than a decade in the medical and insurance model, I founded Milestones At Play—originally my husband’s idea—and it has been the most rewarding adventure. Today, I’m grateful to help children thrive while being fully present for my own family.

Dr. Savannah Love
Founder - Savannah Love & Love Pediatric Physical Therapy
I’m Dr. Savannah Love, PT, DPT, founder of Love Pediatric Physical Therapy in Aledo, Texas. I provide pediatric physical therapy and Craniosacral Fascial Therapy for infants and children, offering both in-clinic and in-home visits. I specialize in treating head shape concerns without helmets, torticollis, tethered oral tissues, and developmental delays. I’ve completed advanced training in infant bodywork, including Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, TMR Tots, and Tethered Oral Tissue Specialty Training, and I’m also a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician passionate about safe travel for little ones.

Originally from a small town in the Texas Hill Country, I earned my doctorate at UNT Health in Fort Worth and chose to plant roots here. I’m married to Marcus, an elementary PE teacher, and we adore our senior dog, Simba. Outside of work, you’ll find me golfing, caring for plants, knitting, or baking sourdough.

I founded Love Pediatric Physical Therapy to blend skilled hands-on care with play and holistic bodywork—helping children build strength, confidence, and a love of movement that lasts a lifetime.

Jessica Koiner
Founder - The Milk Box Lactation
I’m Jessica Koiner, founder of The Milk Box Lactation, serving families across DFW through every age and stage of lactation. As a fellow mom and nutrition graduate, I’m passionate about helping families feel supported, equipped, and confident in their feeding journey.

My approach goes beyond latch and supply—I care deeply about the connection between lactation, bodywork, airway development, and long-term wellness. I believe families thrive when they have a strong village, and I’m honored to be part of that support system.

My passion for this work began with my own story. My first child and I struggled significantly with breastfeeding during his early months, one of the hardest seasons our family has faced. That experience ignited a calling to walk alongside other families with hope and encouragement.

After years pursuing Nutrition and Dietetics, I discovered lactation support was where I was meant to be. Today, it’s not just my profession—it’s one of my greatest joys.
